Other Golf Improvements for 2012

Improve your Golf Game now, for 2012
In our previous article we discussed the new advancements in club technology, but what about other aspects of the game?  Taylormade, Callaway, and PING golf manufacturers have introduced their latest tweaks, designs, and game improvement clubs for 2012, but this isn’t the only thing you need to improve your game.  New advancements in golf shoe design and golf ball technology have been improved for 2012.
The advancement in golf shoes for comfort, stability, and game improvement has been lumped into one fraise, “sole science.” Mike Stachura, a writer for Golf Digest Magazine, goes into depth about the advancements in golf footwear.  The shoe company Adidas has recently introduced a new golf shoe with a “spikeless” technology.  Not only does this shoe provide ultimate control in your golf stance and swing, it can also be worn as leisure apparel.  This means no matter where you go, you will always be ready to golf and not be burdened with the tedious task of changing into and out of your golf shoes.
Adidas feature shoe, called the Adicross, “features 124 traction nodules to help the foot flex naturally during the swing. A synthetic cap over the toe makes it resistant to scuffing. Justin Rose wore these during his win at a soggy 2011 BMW Championship,” said Mr. Stachura.  This shows that pro-golfers have seen the versatility of this shoe and find it to be a game changer when it comes to ultimate comfort and performance, but even with the latest technology in clubs and apparel we are missing the number one important piece in golf, the ball.
No matter how hard and perfect your swing is it will come up short without the latest advancements in golf ball technology.  “The latest top three brands recommended for 2012 would have to be Bridgestone, Callaway, and NIKE,” said Jimmy Wallis a Player’s Assistant for a local Utah Golf Retail/Distributor.
The top three brands have introduced the following models: the Bridgestone B330, the Callaway HEX Black Tour, and the NIKE 20XI-S.
Bridgestonegolf.com had this to say about their latest ball, “As of this year, all four models use a dual-dimple design aimed at reducing drag at launch (for more speed) and increasing lift later in flight (for longer carry).(2)  The balls starting cost at $43 dollars a dozen.
Callawaygolf.com explained their new technology, “New for 2012, the five-piece construction starts with the softest inner core and the firmest outer core in company history to produce the biggest difference between driver-shot spin and wedge-shot spin. (2) The balls starting cost at $46 dollars a dozen.
NIKE doesn’t come up short with their balls depicting that, “the cores are constructed of an injection-molded polymer resin instead of traditional rubber…….low spin off the driver and high spin off the wedge…….by increasing the balls moment of inertia with denser outer layers versus less dense inner layers.” The balls starting cost at $46 dollars a dozen.
