The
Latest in Golf Advancements are now available for February 2012
The Taylormade, Callaway, and PING
golf manufacturers have introduced their latest tweaks, designs, and game improvement
clubs for 2012. “Taylormade, Callaway,
and PING have the latest in advancements and good quality product,” quote from
Jimmy Wallis a Player’s Assistant for a local Utah Golf Retail/Distributor.
Just
this month the three leading companies released their new Drivers, the biggest
clubs in the bag. Taylormade revealed
the new 11Rs and the ROCKETBALLZ-RBG Drivers on February 3rd. PING introduced their new PING-I20 Driver on
February 7th and Callaway came out with the latest driver on the
market, the RAZRFIT Driver, on February 13th.
“Taylormade
has the overall lead in their adjustability, loft, and face angle,” Mr. Wallis
said after being asked what the overall leading company was.
Each
top company introduced a club this month, but only Taylormade introduced 2
clubs instead of one.
The
11Rs Driver is one of the most advanced drivers ever constructed. With the
11Rs’s advanced adjustability it is 3 clubs in one. The 11Rs Driver allows you to correct your
slice or hook on the tee box and go from a 9.5 degree to an 11.5 degree driver
in a matter of minutes.
The
Taylormade RBG Driver is also advanced in its ability to crush the ball off the
tee and gain an average distance of 15 yards longer than its competitors.
Callaway
has designed a comparable driver called the RAZRFIT with counter balance weights
and minor adjustability. Although it is
not as advanced as Taylormade, this driver doesn’t come up short. Its counter balance weight technology the
average golfer would be a fierce opponent with this in their arsenal.
The
I20, developed by PING, exhibits a more traditional driver that gets the job
done. With the companies own
advancements in shaft and head design they take a leading role in golf
today.
Drivers
have been designed and redesigned over the years to improve a golfer’s game and
give them that long shot they have been looking for, but other advancements
have been made in the golfer’s bag.
Taylormade
has come out with a new tweaks in their designs for their irons and fairway
woods. The irons have an “inverted cone
technology” that gives more energy to the center of the club face and therefore
improves the iron recovery shot. With
Taylormade’s fairway woods they have design and patented a “speed pocket”
design which allows for the club to recoil and spring to give the ball more
loft and distance.
“Taylormade
would have to be the best deal for your dollar due to their quick changes and
advancements in their clubs. With last
year’s model being slightly different it is half the price now. Also, check out globalgolf.com to see clubs
statistics and prices,” quote from the Manager of a local Utah Golf
Retail/Distributor.
